40 Best Songs of All Times About Poker, Dice, Cards and Addiction
40. Go Down Gamblin’ - Blood Sweat and Tears
Released in 1971, Go Down Gamblin’ by Blood Sweat and Tears is a song describing a gambler who is “born a natural loser.” He never wins, no matter what game he plays, but, he doesn’t feel like a loser. As the song goes – “Cause I've been called a natural lover by that lady over there, Honey, I'm just a natural gambler but I try to do my share.”
39. Gambler - Madonna
Gambler is a song written and played by Madonna, made for the film Vision Quest. Although the song reached the top 10 in the charts of the UK, Australia, Belgium, Ireland, Netherlands, and Norway, Madonna performed it only once on her 1985The Virgin Tour. It’s a catchy song, we suggest you play it as you spin the reels of some of your favourite retro online slots.
38. The House of the Rising Sun - The Animals
Our list wouldn’t be complete without the 1964 hit song - The House of the Rising Sun by The Animals. Everybody knows the famous lines ”My mother, she was a tailor, sewed these new blue jeans, my father was a gamblin' man way down in New Orleans.” This single had a major success and made it to the top 10 songs on mainstream rock radio stations in the USA. Likewise, the hit was featured in the video game Guitar Hero Live.
37. The Winner Takes It All - ABBA
Whether we admit it or not, we all love at least some songs played by the very well-known Swedish pop group, ABBA. According to some sources, Bjorn Ulvaeus wrote the 1980 hit song The Winner Takes It All which was inspired by his divorce to his fellow band member, Agnetha Fältskog. The winner takes it all is a sort of a comparison to a divorce (especially the part ”I've played all my cards and that's what you've done too, nothing more to say, no more ace to play”), where one of them is the winner and the other one is left with nothing. And things are just the same when it comes to gambling, so we’ve decided to put the song on our list.
36. Shape of my Heart - Sting
We’re all aware of the fact that our gambling behaviour can be influenced by certain types of music and that's because online gambling and music go hand in hand. So, we suggest you start playing your preferred games with one of everyone’s favourite songs by Sting called The Shape of my Heart. It was released in 1993 and used for the end credits of the film Léon. In one of his interviews, Sting explained that the lyrics of the song tell the story of a card player who places bets not in order to win but to figure out something that’s been bothering him - “some kind of scientific, almost religious law.”
35. All I Wanna Do Is Play Cards - Corb Lund
“Well, I guess I really oughta be makin up songs but all I wanna do is play cards. I know it's dumb and sick and wrong but all I wanna do is play cards. Got the studio booked in Tennessee, and my record producer's callin me, the tape will roll in just three weeks and all I wanna do is play cards.” Does it sound familiar? It’s a 2005 hit by Corb Lund called All I Wanna Do Is Play Cards, once you hear it you’ll be playing it on repeat.
34. Gambling Man - The Overtones
When you’re falling in love, it’s perfectly normal to feel like you want to gamble everything just to attract that person’s attention to notice you and love you back. Well, Gambling Man is a lively 2010 song that tells a story of a guy fascinated with his love, so he places all his bets on her, as the song goes - “I played my hand, I rolled the dice, now I'm paying for my sins, I got some bad addiction.” This time, he feels that this love affair is different from any other – “Baby, it's you, yeah, yeah, that's right.” The song was released in 2010 and has been popular ever since.
33. Poker Face - Lady Gaga
Although the Poker Face song is more about the game of romance rather than the game of poker, the catchy refrain that starts with “Can't read my, no he can't read my poker face” kinda reminds us of winning at the tables, so we couldn’t skip it this time. Released in 2008, the song achieved worldwide success, topping the charts in the USA, the UK, Australia, Canada and several European countries.
32. Little Queen of Spades - Robert Johnson
Moving on to the Little Queen of Spades, a song title by the American blues musician Robert Johnson who recorded the song in 1937 and first released it in 1938. The first version of this gambling-themed song has a playing time of 2:11, whereas the second one lasts 4s longer (2:15), and is considered an alternate take and first appeared on Johnson's album The Complete Recordings, in 1990.
31. Train of Consequences - Megadeth
Another great song Train of Consequences is the title created by Megadeth, released as the first single from their sixth studio album Youthanasia in 1994. The song was later included on their compilation albums and its music video was the 26th most played video on MTV. There’s this part of the song “No horse ever ran as fast as the money that you bet, I'm blowing on my cards and I play them to my chest” – which is about a person’s gambling problem, who realises something’s wrong with this lifestyle, but it still hunts him down. Could be just the thrill, but he just can’t stop playing.
30. Gambler - Whitesnake
Released on the album Slide It In (1984) and appearing on the compilation album Gold (2006), Gambler is the song by the British hard rock band Whitesnake. These words may sound familiar - “No fame or fortune, no luck of the draw, when I dance with the Queen of Hearts, a jack of all trades, a loser in love, it's tearing my soul apart”. And in case you’ve never heard it, we think you should give it a shot, the chances are you’re going to love it!
29. Gambling Man - Woody Guthrie
Now here’s one single from 1957 - Gamblin' Man. The song was taped live at the London Palladium and published as a double A side, with Puttin' On the Style. Reaching #1 in the UK Singles Chart in the summer 1957, it was “the last UK number 1 to be released on 78 rpm format only, as 7' vinyl had become the norm by this time.” Written by Woody Guthrie and Donegan, this gambling themed song was produced by Alan Freeman and Michael Barclay.
28. Roll of the Dice - Bruce Springsteen
According to Songfacts, Roll of the Dice was the first Springsteen’s song he didn’t write by himself. In fact, E Street Band’s pianist Roy Bittan helped with the music, while Springsteen was in charge of the lyrics, starting with – “Well I've been a losin' gambler, just throwin' snake eyes, Love ain't got me downhearted. I know up around the corner lies, My fool's paradise in just another roll of the dice.” After he broke up the E Street Band in October 1989, Springsteen wrote lyrics for the Roll of the Dice (with two other songs) and liked them to the point where he began writing and recording more songs.
27. Queen of Diamonds - Tom Odell
Here’s one song about a gambling fanatic who’s trying to satisfy his own addiction but also someone else, hoping it’s going to save him. Released in 2018, Queen of Diamonds is Tom Odell’s song from the album Jubilee Road, based on the local characters that inspired this British songwriter to include the whisky-soaked gamblers who regularly visited one betting shop.
26. The Angel and the Gambler - Iron Maiden
Now, this song may divide Iron Maiden fans and it’s most probably because of its repetitive lyrics that can be a bit annoying. The release we’re talking about is The Angel and the Gambler. Truth be told, the melody in general is very catchy and, even a bit similar to The Who in some moments. As the song was released in 1998 while Blaze Bayley was its frontmen, it’s missing the well-known high-pitch vocals from Bruce Dickinson.
25. Ramblin' Gamblin Man - Bob Seger
We’re moving on to a rock single from 1978 - Ramblin' Gamblin Man by Bob Seger. The author meets an old acquaintance, a professional gambler who happens to be a swagger. As such, he attracts people’s attention whenever he bets. Putting so much of his faith in the cards (rather than in people), he walks away every time, just before avoiding loss. Along the way, the narrator realises that, if you scratch beneath the surface, you’ll find he’s a very cynical man, who will never change. Another gambling-themed song worth mentioning by Bob Seger is Still The Same.
24. Blow Up The Pokies - The Whitlams
Blow up the Pokies is the next song on our list, played by The Whitlams. It is the second single by the group from their 4th studio album, Love This City. Released in the year 2000, the song became a hit and made it to number 21 on the ARIA Singles Chart. According to several resources, the lyrics written by singer Tim Freedman were inspired by the destruction he saw in original Whitlams bassist Andy Lewis's life, due to his gambling addiction.
23. A Good Run of Bad Luck - Clint Black
Now here’s one 1994-song packed with gambling-related terms. As you listen to A Good Run of Bad Luck, recorded by American music artist Clint Black, you'll have a bit of fun as you try identifying what all these gambling terms mean. The song is a bit fast and is about falling in love by using gambling metaphors. The main character is willing to spend a lot of money to win his special lady over and, although he has had a period of bad luck, he is not giving up – “I've been to the table, and I've lost it all before, I'm willin' and able, always comin' back for more.”
22. When You’re Hot, You’re Hot - Jerry Reed
Jerry Reed won a Grammy for the song When You’re Hot, You’re Hot which was released in 1971. Most people remember it as it was a major hit, ranked as number 1 in the country charts, also making its way up the Pop Top 40. It’s an enjoyable novelty song about the ups and downs of the gambling life, about one’s winning streak caught in an illegal game of Crap. Country star Jerry Reed also came up with a version The Uptown Poker Club in 1973.
21. Lawyers, Guns and Money - Warren Zevon
Next one up - Lawyers, Guns and Money is a song by Warren Zevon, the closing track on his album Excitable Boy, released in 1978. An edited version of this song was distributed as a single and found itself on the A Quiet Normal Life best of compilation on the CD and LP. The song goes like this - “I went home with a waitress the way I always do, how was I to know she was with the russians, too? I was gambling in Havana, I took a little risk Send lawyers, guns, and money Dad, get me out of this, hiyah!”
20. The Lottery Song - Harry Nilsson
According to the man in the 1972 pop-rock song The Lottery Song by Harry Nilsson, there's more than one way to get to Vegas. Addressing his lover, the narrator mentions a few different options for buying a ticket and going to Sin City – “We could win the lottery we could go to Vegas,” and “We could wait till summer, we could save our money” as well as “We could make a record, sell a lot of copies, we could play Las Vegas.”
19. Casino Queen - Wilco
Now here’s one black-humoured gambling-themed song, released in 1995 and titled after a casino. Featuring a dirty electric guitar, Casino Queen was composed by an American songwriter, Jeff Tweedy, who wrote this song after playing a game in a riverboat casino accompanied by his dad. Inspired by the event, the author wrote: “Casino Queen my lord you're mean, I've been gambling like a fiend on your tables so green.”
18. Have a Lucky Day - Morphine
Another song on our list that you simply must check out starts like this: “I feel lucky, I just feel that way, I'm on a bus to Atlantic City later on today. Now I'm sitting at a blackjack table and swear to God the dealer has a tag says, "Mabel." Hit me, hit me! I smile at Mabel, soon they're bringing complimentary drinks to the table.” Check it out yourself - it’s called Have a Lucky Day by Morphine.
17. Kentucky Gambler - Merle Haggard
Written by Dolly Parton and released in 1974, Merle Haggard’s Kentucky Gambler is another song on our ultimate gambling playlist that you should pay attention to. It’s about a miner from Kentucky who leaves his family to gamble, under the bright lights of Reno. Unsurprisingly, his winning streak comes to an end, and he loses all his winnings. All broke, he decided to return back home only when he arrived, he found out his wife was involved with someone else.
16. The Jack - AC/DC
The next song on our list will give you some adrenaline boost, for sure. It goes like this - “She gave me the queen, she gave me the king, she was wheelin' and dealin', just doin' her thing, she was holdin' a pair, but I had to try…” Sounds familiar? This song from the 1975s is called The Jack and is played by AC/DC and there’s no way you can skip it.
15. Blackjack - Ray Charles
Moving on to something a bit different - a melody that blackjack lovers can listen to as they play is Ray Charles’ Blackjack. Apart from being a good quality song from 1955, it carries an important message with an emphasis on how brutal the game of blackjack can be. Some sources say that Ray Charles wrote it after beating T-Bone Walker at a blackjack game session. Yet another Ray Charles’ famous song about gambling is called a Losing Hand.
14. Ooh Las Vegas - Gram Parson
“Ooh, Las Vegas, ain't no place for a poor boy like me”... is a song-into for Ooh Las Vegas which was written by Gram Parsons and Ric Grech. It was first released by Gram Parsons with Emmylou Harris in 1974. Playing this song would be perfect for the beginning of the road trip (i.e. to Las Vegas), especially if you have the energy to sing along.
13. The Stranger - Leonard Cohen
Published in 1968 and performed by Leonard Cohen, The Stranger appears in the The Ernie Game movie about a man released from a mental asylum. More appropriately, it is the perfect opening song in the 1971 Western McCabe & Mrs Miller, in which Warren Beatty plays a gambler. As you listen to this song (without watching the movie), it makes you see fascinating images of card games, smoky dreams, and concepts of risk versus safety.
12. Desperado - Eagles
Written by Glen Frey and Don Henley, Desperado song is one of The Eagles’ greatest hits from their 1973 album of the same name. The song features a classic tune while the ballad tells the story of a lone wolf imprisoned by his loneliness. As for the lyrics, they have loads of card references mentioning the queen of diamonds, the queen of hearts, and so on.
11. Huck's Tune - Bob Dylan
The next song on our list is about the risks of poker, money, and relationships, which are precisely what the movie Lucky You is all about. Does it ring a bell? That’s right, this 2007 song is called Huck’s Tune and is performed by Bob Dylan. Each of us can all relate to lines "You push it all in, and you've no chance to win, you play 'em on down to the end." Play the song and you’ll enjoy more than 4 amazing minutes of Bob Dylan. Likewise, Bob Dylan recorded Rambling, Gambling Willie and Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts, both excellent and both inspired by gambling.
10. Four Little Diamonds - Electric Light Orchestra
A song by the British rock band Electric Light Orchestra Four Little Diamonds was released in 1983 and found itself on the album Secret Messages. The single wasn’t so popular in the US, being only 2 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, at number 86, and number 84 in the UK. This song refers to the singer’s cheating lover who tricked him out of a ring which had 'four little diamonds' on it.
9. You Can't Beat The House - Mark Knopfler
Moving on to our next choice for the day, You Can’t Beat the House. It’s the third song on the Get Lucky studio album released in 2009 by British singer-songwriter and guitarist Mark Knopfler. The album and the songs received favorable reviews with the album reaching the top three positions on album charts in Denmark, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, and Poland. The singer’s divine voice combined with beautiful music and lyrics goes like this – “You can't bear the house, you can't bear the house, tell the man somebody, you can't beat the house.”
8. Deck of Cards - Don Williams
Deck of Cards is a recitation song that tells the story of a soldier who gets caught while playing cards in church and then faces a sentence from a superior officer. The soldier defends his case, explaining he wasn't about to deal a hand of poker, but was rather confirming his faith with the cards. Performed by T. Texas Tyler, the song managed to become a major hit in the 1940s and 1950s. Also, Wink Martindale had an even bigger hit with his 1959 cover, with a successful version by Don Williams featuring Tex Ritter and Buddy Cole.
7. Gambler’s Blues - B.B. King
First recording of the song Gambler’s Blues by B.B. King was in 1966, and it was released in 1967. The song appears on the album Back in the Alley (1970). Some say gambling and blues go hand in hand, so if you (gambling fans) haven’t heard it, listen and see for yourself.
6. Tumbling Dice - Rolling Stones
One of our favourite songs on the list is Tumbling Dice, written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. It tells the story of a gambler who can’t remain faithful to any woman. Being released in the 1970s and featuring a blues boogie-woogie rhythm, the song was and still is one of the greatest singles of all time. Rolling Stones also recorded Casino Boogie, and it’s from their 1972 album, Exile on Main St.
5. Luck Be A Lady - Frank Sinatra
The next song on our list is about a gambler who hopes that he will win a bet, the outcome of which will decide whether he is able to save his relationship with the girl of his dreams. You probably know what song we’re talking about; it’s called Luck be a Lady released in 1965 and performed by one of the most popular musical artists - Frank Sinatra.
4. Deal - Grateful Dead
Next one up is the song Deal. It was first performed by the Grateful Dead in 1971, as a regular part of the repertoire through their 1970's tour. Although being less common to the fans during the 1990s, the band continued to perform it. The singer opens with the message: “Since it cost a lot to win and even more to lose you and me bound to spend some time wondering what to choose,” that later kicks off with a chorus: “Don't let your deal go down...” Loser is another song first performed by the Grateful Dead in 1971 as well, heavily played during 1971 and 1972.
3. Ace of Spades - Motörhead
Ok, the next song is loaded with some great gambling verses like "The pleasure is to play, makes no difference what you say, I don't share your greed, the only card I need is the Ace of Spades" will definitely set you in the right mood for hitting some winning combinations. Released in 1980, the song was inspired by slot machines that the lead singer Ian Fraser “Lemmy” Kilmister played in London pubs.
2. Viva Las Vegas - Elvis
As soon as you start playing the second song from our playlist “Viva Las Vegas,” you’ll probably picture a huge casino and a great gaming atmosphere. Performed by the legendary Elvis Presley, the 1964-released song brings the glamour of the city, and its beat will get you in the mood for some serious gameplay. This song was written for the movie of the same name starring Elvis Presley, in which he plays a race car driver waiting tables at a hotel to pay off a debt. There’s this famous scene when he performs this song at the talent competition alongside many showgirls.
1. The Gambler - Kenny Rogers
Performed by the legendary country singer Kenny Rogers, The Gambler song is our number 1 - it's full of some betting advice that are relevant today, even though it was released more than 40 years ago, in 1978. Here’s how it goes… “If you're gonna play the game, boy you gotta learn to play it right, you've got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, and know when to run.” These classic chorus lines were told from the first-person perspective inspired by a conversation the author had with an experienced poker player on a train. Written in the form of poker metaphors, Schlitz wrote the tune in honor of his late father. Johnny Cash is also among other musicians who recorded The Gambler in 1978, on Gone Girl.
FunFair Tokenomics 2020 - FunFair's FUN token and how it aligns incentives across 6 distinct groups of stakeholders to create a compelling gaming platform
FunFair has come a long way since I started following the team in 2017, recently adding a Japanese casino (the fourth casino now in the network), in-wallet purchase of FUN with credit/debit cards, the removal of the need for ETH to cover gas charges, browser and device-independent play, an easy to use wallet and a raft of new games. Unlike many crypto projects where tokens were seen primarily as a fund-raising approach, the FUN token provides significant utility by coordinating the activities and incentives of the six stakeholder types within the FunFair ecosystem:
FUN Token Holders
Casino Players
Affiliates and Referral Partners
Licensed Operators and White Labels (Casinos)
Game Developers
Gaming Regulators
For me, the FUN token is THE perfect example of a project where the token has significant utility in aligning incentives across disparate stakeholders and is a poster child for effective tokenomics. Here's my personal view on the value propositions and incentives for each of these groups:
The FUN token is a standard ERC-20 token and is thus easily managed on a wide variety of Ethereum hardware and software wallets
FUN is traded on major exchanges such as Binance (International), Uniswap, etc. and is thus quite liquid
FUN is a non-inflationary token - there will only ever be 11 Billion FUN tokens and 4.45 Billion of those are held in cold storage and not expected to ever be used
All of the 2.29B Founders tokens have long been unlocked, thus there is no ongoing selling pressure from those allocations
As players play, a portion of the FUN tokens representing the house profits are ‘singed’ - that is, they are sent to an address that effectively takes them out of circulation. This is slightly different from the tokens being burned (irretrievably destroyed) but has a similar result in that they are no longer available for trade or purchase by anyone.
Scarcity of FUN (and therefore it's presumed value) will also be driven by more and more Casinos coming online and needing to establish their own bankrolls
FunFair has stated that they want to support FUN Staking - which would allow FUN token holders to lock their FUN tokens up in a smart contract and form part of a communal bankroll that could be used by new Casinos leveraging the FunFair platform. These token holders would then share in the house profits generated from that bankroll. There has not been any specific date given for rolling out this feature but the community is excited about it and the team has come up with a technical approach for implementing this.
Great visibility as to the current statistics for the FunFair network, due to the excellent FunStats.xyz

Provides an automated dispute resolution mechanism
Facilitates verifying appropriate KYC / AML laws, including age, identity verification, source of funds, etc. are being consistently enforced for each jurisdiction
Allows consistent implementation of Responsible Gaming / Vulnerable Player policies network wide
The non-custodial nature of FunFair means Operators cannot abscond with player funds or delay withdrawals, a common source of player complaints
As you can see, the value to each stakeholder is considerable - especially when compared to the current legacy technology - which is why I'm bullish that FunFair will be successful in achieving its mission of truly reinventing this industry. What do you think? Do you see other value props? Let me know and I'll add them to the list!
PSA: Stop Freaking Out about Kernel-Mode Anti Cheat
Yes, ring 0 drivers do have more access than a user-level driver. However, even as Riot said, they can still steal things with user-level drivers that don't run at startup:
This isn’t giving us any surveillance capability we didn’t already have. If we cared about grandma’s secret recipe for the perfect Christmas casserole, we’d find no issue in obtaining it strictly from user-mode and then selling it to The Food Network.
You know VAC? The anti-cheat that's not kernel-level, that doesn't even have a driver? I know it's not good anti-cheat, but you know it can pretty much do the same thing as what Riot said they can do with user-level, right?
It uses Signature Scanning to detect possible cheats when scanning the computer's memory and processes.
Wanna know something fun? Have you heard of PunkBuster? You know it also runs at startup, right? You know it's also a ring 0 kernel-mode driver that has been around for 20 years? Adding onto this post, here's more kernel-mode anti cheat and games that go along with them, mainly PunkBuster and VAC:

Don’t do pranks more than twice a month. Or has the Japanese heat wave got to you that badly? Ah well, I do understand the wish for a summer vacation. A commander’s job is to ensure the subordinates’ welfare. No benefits, no labor, right? However, however, you see...” “AREN’T WE! IN AN EMERGENCY! SITUATION! RIGHT NOW!? Hasn’t the surface been wiped blank! Where are you gonna find a beach, let alone walking around in swimsuits?! Do you understand!? We ain’t gonna have a summer of our dream where we mess around in some five star resort, are we!” Gudao: “Got it.” Gol: “LIKE HELL YOU DID. YOU GOT NOTHING! Can’t have Swimsuit Swordsmasters if you don’t leyshift to America, how the hell am I supposed to swallow that ludicrousness!? I’m not swallowing that! You’re lucky I haven’t questioned your sanity!” Vinci: “Now now commander, calm down. There there~” Gol: “Telling me to calm down is one thing but stop patting my belly already...” Vinci: “C’mon, haven’t things been like that always? As long as there is a wish to a Holy Grail-equivalent of magical resource, a singularity can emerge. It juuuust happens to be Swimsuit Swordsmasters in America this time. What’s so strange about that? Gol: “... ... hey, am I that guy? Am I the crazy one here?” Holmes: “Ha. Ha. Ha. Well then Commander, you will grant permission, won’t you?” Gol: “Why can you smile with such a straight face... SCARY! YOUR SMILE IS SCARING ME!” Upon arriving at Las Vegas: Siegfried: “This city is false. Everything here is formed from the battle of the Swordsmasters. This city is not unlike a battlefield itself. I feel the call of battle rousing my blood. It’s not within myself, but this Heroic Outfit is speaking to me” Hoku: “(this guy is so cool! I wanna imitate him...) y-yeah, I also feel excited. It’s not me. It’s the swords speaking to me.” Sieg: “I see, you too are burdened by the whispers of the swords. Must be painful.” Hoku: “(No good, too cool! As expected, donning four swords is naught a matter to you. Hoku: (blush more furiously!) Sieg: Oh, she’s in a battle trance again... “The sunlight, the tan, the wet skin, the cute little boys! Bunny king: I am Swimsuit Lion King. The great owner of the Casino Camelot. There is no mistake. Why because, my suit... is water resistant.
HIMEJI SURVIVAL CASINO
Anne and Mary scene where Kotaro is able to record their battle tactics (that you definitely want to read): Gang member: wheeze… wheeze… wheeze Finally caught you now. Damn cheeky girl, took me ages to track you down! (perverted laughs) But it was worth it hehehee… Anne: Kyaa~ Don’t~ (monotone) What kinds of depravity would you subject me to? Gang member: What do you mean, what kinds… Hiihiihii, don’t play dumb! Samurai: (menacing giggles) Kukuku… It goes without saying… (WHIPS OUT KIARA P0RN!) We’ll have you read out loud this phantasmal book “Compilation of the Eiten School’s Dharma of Sensations!” Anne: (dumbfounded) Samurai: Of course, you have to read this in a tsundere-like voice that hides the inner ZUKKON LOVE of an osananajimi love interest, understand! Anne: (What the heck is ZUKKON) (TL: “zukkon” means “madly in love”) Anon Warrior: Ah, then I would like to request an onee-san voice pleeze. You got me lost in that lengthy rambling too! Mob enemies: Wut!? (promptly get ambushed) Anne: Umm lemme see lemme see… “Indeed. Let us head to the temple.” Mary: Please don’t read that book for the love of God. Gang member: W-Wait… Why do you guys have more members…? Mary: I act as Anne’s equipment. So we’re two people, but still one Servant. Yaaaay. (blush) And about that request, why does it have to be an imouto… I’ll do just fine as an onee-san too! Anon Warrior: (crawl up from his grave with a shit-eating grin) Mary: One express ticket to hell for you! (kick him away) After Kotoro’s recording stops, Gudao has an option to respond: “Nevermind their tactics, can I know who that cultured Anon Warrior is?” Later, to trick Anne and Mary using their own tactic, Gudao also disguises himself as equipment to act as baits for the 2 thirsty pirate onee-san. Mashu: Are you going to be okay, Master… Gudao: Please pick up my bones after they finish me. mUSAshi: You’ll be fiiiiine. Neither meat nor bones will go anywhere! Execution stage: Mary: …h-huh? Master! What are you doing here? Gudao: I’m lost… Mary: Geez, you’re hopeless. Wait, if you’re here then you’re also a player right? …huh, equipment? I see, just like me… (blush) Yeah that makes sense. If I fit, then Master should also fit… But… playing the role of equipment… alone all by yourself… Mary: Hmmm~ (scoot closer) Hmmm, mmm hmmm~ (scoot much closer) Anne: (barge in) Hey, I found you! Mary: (startle!) Yikes, Anne! Anne: Hmph! It’s unfair to steal a move on Master in secret. Mary: I’m not doing anything like that. To begin with, aren’t you supposed to be our lookout? Anne: Teehee~ :D I heard Master was in the bamboos, so I just acted on my own without thinking. Mary: Aww, what am I going to do with you :D Welp, all the more fun with just the 3 of us here! Anne: I know right ♪ Anne: (thirsty mode ON) Let’s. Get. It. On. Then ♡ Master, you’re supposed to be equipment, right? In other words, it’s natural to treat you like our belongings, right? Ah. We’ll juuuuust gently… Mary: (invade personal space) Hug you… Anne: (invade personal space) And press our cheeks on yours… Mary: (dominate personal space) And do things we normally can’t do with you… Anne: (dominate personal space) Do them lots and lots and lots ♡ Mary: Now, keep your eyes closed okay, Master? ♡ Gudao: Guys… look… The girls: ? Gudao: Sorry. And then of course you gotta beat them up cuz god forbid we ever get laid. MechaEli: (landing down) I have confirmed the tournament announcement. So Mary and Anne have been defeated, right? Gudao: Since when can you fly!? MechaEli: Since forever. This skill was installed as soon as I was manufactured. This is better than summoning the sea with some Noble Phantasm right? (Getting flashback of dolphin railgun: Jeanne: “Yaaay~ I’m gonna filled the world with dolphins! :D” Reese: “DO PHI PHI PHI PHI PHI PHIN!” – translation: incredibly foul-mouthed dolphinspeak that mustn’t be transcribed) Gudao: ...Yeah, you got a point.
PHARAOH CASINO
(For this part I just wanna comment that Schez takes up the role of the security chief of Pharaoh Casino to help Nito who is currently being possessed by Medjed-sama. Brown girl finally grew a spine for her friend 😭) Gucchan just came out of a date with Xiang from the casino when Carmilla suddenly asks her to join Gudao’s band of phantom theives, so she just beats you up. But then we win instead so she’s like “fine fine what the hell do you want to talk me into”. Carmi: “I know from my research, you lost a big sum in the casino just now right? The lover date just barely healed the salt. Don’t you want to get back at them? This heist will benefit you, because you see, what we’re after is the arrogance of a concept like casino itself.” Gu: “...yeah, now that you mention it, what rubbish. Casino or whatever, rubbish. Why would I have to humiliate myself in puny humans’ rules for play pretend? Getting them back for making fun of me in front of Xiang-sama... very well, such detour may be fun” (cute fang grin) Gudao: (Oops, paisen / She’s surprisingly...) Hoku: Hey hey, wassup with this girl, she’s surprisingly easy to fool! Mashu: No Hoku-san blurting that out is no good! Be flexible, Gu-san! Flexible! Well, their plan to infiltrate the Casino is actually making Gu explode into a bloody mess to scare Schez off. Planning stage: Gu: “So what’s the big plan? As long as it’s not on the level of “No choice but to self-destruct right here!” that some purple-headed strategist’s been doing lately, I’m fine with anything.” Carmi: “...” Gu: “Say something! You’re pissing me off!” Execution stage: Gu: “excuse me, I feel ill...” Schez: “oh no, this is not good ma’am! We must give you medical assist right away or else you might die...” Gu: “...now that I look at it, this place is filled with nothing but white and slippery-looking guys (Medjeds). Wouldn’t it be more fitting to have strong intimidating guys around? This is too all-age for what I’m about to do. Schez: ?? Gu: “I feel ill, ah really ill... Wait this is exactly what that strategist likes to do isn’t it! Hey what the hell I’m pissed!” Carmi: (psst! Stick to the plan!) Gu: “OH YEAH YEAH FINE I’M THE KIND OF WOMAN ONLY GOOD FOR THIS SORT OF THINGS RIGHT HUH?! EXPLODE RIGHT, I JUST GOTTA EXPLODE IS THAT IT?! Fine, here we go. [ETERNAL LAMENT!]” (Splat! Blood rains everywhere) Schez: I-I’m going to dieeeeee! Wait she dieeeeeessss??! And then later when they bait Cleo out she’s all like what the hell is with all the ruckus and why the hell are the patrons screaming “meat...! meat...!”
SUITENGU CASINO
Assassin Creed: Lip edition #1: Carmi: “QP farming is for plebs. I’m staying in the hotel for beauty treatment. Rather, why would you ask a phantom thief to do anything but to steal. I have no business with Sutengui. “There are no hidden treasures in Sutengui. Only the sound of cheering and empty holograms...” That’s what my Mistress Sensor has whispered to- (rocket punched, dead) Lip: “Failed to detect a surprise attack from behind... is your sensor only good for detecting jewelry? Were you really an Assassin? That’s what you get for wearing a swimsuit not your age... I mean for turning into a Rider.” Assassin Creed: Lip edition #2: Okkie: “GO GO GO! You’re dumb for running alone! No mercy for you, assault from 3 sides! Yep yep, survival games are the best! Sorry Maa-chan, I gotta stretch my limbs sometimes! To begin with, isn’t Sutengui like, that evil casino run by Lambda? There is definitely an evil aura well hidden there... even Hime can see darkness there... Kurohi (black Kiyohime? Third ascension?) said “it’s kinda scary” too... Ah well, today Carmi and Nero let me loose so I’m just gonna de-stress in the woods~! Ora ora, your back is wide open! You’re 10 years too early to join the battlefield beibii!” Lip: “Same goes to you tho. Must be because your belly fat causes you to get slow.” Okkie: “Whaa!? Whatcha mean, I took boxing class and went on a diet properly to prepare for summer you kno- (rocket punched, dead) Lip: “You talk too much. If you’re aiming, keep your breath down and be quite. Were you really an Assassin? I don’t think you can join the cool Archer club with that much meat on your belly...” Assassin Creed: Lip edition #3: Fuuma: ... Lip:... Fuuma: ... Lip:... Fuuma: ... Lip:... Fuuma: ...excuse me. You’ve been following me for quite some time, anything you wanna say? Lip: ... sigh. Assassin class is truly cunning. Noticing me tailing like that... I just wanted to put you down gently... (not sure if rocket punches are considered gentle 🤨) that would have been a hat-trick... could you please read the mood here...” Fuuma: (...but man, that’s really some dress she’s wearing... I can’t look straight... sasuga Vegas... no calm down Koutaro, calm as still water... at times like this, lord Kintoki would keep his cool and look straight without fail...!) (pretty Kinbro would just go beet red too tho) Fuuma: Sorry but I’m in a hurry so I can’t dawdle here. Maybe if there are taxis around... Lip: Oh that won’t be necessary. I have class advantage against Assassin after all ★ Fuuma: A giant...!? (about to say “fist” but he ded) After capturing our Servants, Lip leaves us a threat letter: “I have to wonder how you’d challenge Sutengui with such lame Servants. The “distiny” of annoying flies are to be squashed flat. I’ll be using the three I captured at the beachside. PS: Splitting watermelons is fun.” Then you find out she actually buries those three in the sand to play watermelon splitting with their heads… Lip: At the moment due to some circumstances Melt has turned into a Lancer, so I would prefer that only Saber people would beat her to a pulp. Fuuma: Umm, aren’t you guys sisters? Carmi: What are you on about. This is what siblings are like. Fuuma: :C (Aren’t family members supposed to get along!?) Hoku: Saber class is fine right? Then no need to worry, I’ll take her on! Leave this to us. There is no need for you to concern yourself anymore. Lip: No role for me to play anymore? Isn’t this kind of situation where you recruit me into your party! Right, Gudao? Gudao: If we leave her alone, it might be dangerous... / Lip is definitely our trump card. Lip: Rogue! Passionlip will do her best! Given enough time, I can turn anything into a cube. If push comes to shove, the whole casino can just go poof! Okkie: Yep, she’s a monster. On our side or not the level of danger is the same, Maa-chan T__T Announcer: Welcome to Sutengui. We’ll now perform belonging inspection. Please spare the time to cooperate with us. Gudao: it’s dark... / security is strict... Mashu: yeah... if we don’t hold hands in this darkness we might get separated... Sieg: (boing~) Where are you Hokusai? Are you there? (boing~) What is this smooth and elastic material that the more you hold it the more your hand digs in... (boing~) the texture is so soft, if I have to say... don’t tell me this is... (boing~) the breast muscles...? Hoku: Dummy, that’s Octodad, stop grabbing his head! You can stop holding onto my belt now! After getting out of the dark security check, Siegfried has squid ink on his face... Melt’s casino is pretty hardcore. It converts your EXP into slot tokens without asking and if you lose you’re basically EXP food for Melt. Looks like the day before Gudao gang gets to Sutengui, Blackbeard and Columbus gambled their EXP away and died. Bart: Each coin here is worth 1 million QP. Instead of fraud, they just play big. Returns are big too. If you get a triple the slot machine will eject 10 coins, a jackpot 1000. Do you know what this means? Hoky: Each coin a million... then 1000 would be like, 10 billion QP!? Sieg: No, on the other hand... we could lose 1 million QP in exactly 3 seconds!? Gudao: This woman makes 1 million QP a second...! / This man loses 1 million QP a second...! Koutaro being too much of an good guy: Fuuma: That Alterego (Protea) must originally be a kind hearted girl, she’s just been deceived by that evil factory manager. If we defeat that rider, there shouldn’t be a need to fight her anymore! Columbus: ?? ??? After we kick Columbus’ ass: Protea: uu~ mister factory manager was too noisy, that woke me up...~ but he already kicked the bucket...? He didn’t even seem like he put up a fight... but I’m glad everybody else is okay! ... so let’s p l a y a w h o l e l o t, o k a y? Even if I make a little mess, Melt will fix it for me! Fuuma: Huh!? Shouldn’t she be a good girl at heart?? Gudao: To begin with why would you even have that kinda idea / (oh, right, he didn’t know she went nuts on the skate ring earlier) Melt’s plan getting sabotaged and her losing her cool is funny xD Melt: The day has finally come... In just an hour everything will be mine. Though some little things remain, everything must come to an end. A star is destined to retired as a star. A bird never fouls its nest before abandoning it. For a swan like me, this is the perfect way to end things. ... Hehe, hahahahahahaha! Ah geez, this is awesome! Nothing beats how happy I’m feeling right now! The biggest nuisance BB is gone, no other annoying boss characters left either! Yay! And then... Announcer: Fire broke out at the factory. The manager has run away. Protea, scouted to be the giant kaiju has been put down. Cannot compress EXP points to Melt-sama. Recommend starting all over. Melt: Hey Siri, come again? My brain couldn’t compute that just now. Announce: Repeat. You lost everything. Please redo the whole thing. Melt: .......that so. Well, what happened happened. No I’m cool, I’m perfectly cool. This is Gudao’s masterplan isn’t it. I expected no less. (menacing lip licking) But I still have my turn you know? Right now I’ll go upstage and drain each and every member of the audience. Should be enough of a level-up to beat you pests into a pulp, right? Announcer: I think you should say “Hey Siri, tell me the bad news” now. Melt: ...Hey Siri, tell me the bad news. Announcer: For some reason all the audience is gone. Currently, all Melt-sama has in your possession is a flat (read: pettanko) zero. Melt: Hey Siri, eat shit and die! Turns out the Gudao group shout to the audience that not only should they should leave because of danger, since Melt is unable to perform, they will instead host an equally beautiful “golden songs from Her Majesty Nero, or rather 10 songs, no make it a 3-day 3-night all-you-can-listen-until-you-faint show!” Nero: wow! To be able to convince the audience to leave so quickly, the MC must have conveyed my direction really well! Fuuma: (looks to me they’re running away in fear, but I should probably avoid pointing that out...) Part 2 will prolly cover Jeanne's dolphin railgun and Okita's ridiculous backstory :D
JP Summer 2019 Story according to someone who can't read! HIMEJI-Casino IN COLOR
------------------------ Disclaimer The following is the interpretation of a story in Japanese by a man who can't read Japanese, it merely made for comedic purposes and does not reflect the actual writing of the original story. ---------------------------- HIMEJI Casino The chapter opens with our NEET-Princess monologing in a game of ~~PUBG~~ ~~Fortnite~~ ~~APEX Legends~~, just whatever battle royale game you guys like the most. Type-moon being type-moon I can only assume she is rambling on something about survival of the fittest or some other philosophy, also don’t mind the [kiyo in the background, she’s not actually there]( https://i.imgur.com/pjTocoL.png), I’ll get to her in a bit. The scene switches back to our protagonists, heading towards Casino HIMEJI, we speculate that it’s probably Okki and I am thoroughly surprised that her casino isn’t the Castle JANGATM we all know and love. There is nothing out of the ordinary, there’s slots, roulette, poker but for some reason there’s hanafuda (which is basically the Japanese version of playing cards, google it). Enter, King of the Jungle, [Jaguarman (Tiger) and OG Illya]( https://i.imgur.com/PptSh4F.png), Tiger gets hyped at the sight of the hanafuda cards and challenges Illya. Illya feels obliged to see who is the better goddess and the two end up duelling, I can only assume the duel went like this, https://youtu.be/OSqkRU8V2iA?t=176. Mashu questions why there are servants who aren’t in swimsuits here but Siegfried ain’t got time to answer that so we shall promptly ignore Mashu. There we spot [a line to enter the battle royale]( https://i.imgur.com/W945KJH.png) and ask for Okki however… [You were expecting Okki but it was me KIYOHIME.]( https://i.imgur.com/k7cbLUO.jpg) [CHOICE:]( https://i.imgur.com/TpTNr0J.png) [Say nothing due to PTSD from first summer event/ Valentine/ just general Kiyo things.] [Morning, any progress yet? (I can only assume that this is throwing some shade at her lack of character development)] [Kiyohime SHOCK~.](https://i.imgur.com/HuKf6fS.png) But she recovers and calls you a tease and she likes it like that. [So, no progress.](https://i.imgur.com/xUbpA8M.png) Time to move the plot along, Kiyo askes us if we’re taking part in the event, which we are and question what Kiyo is doing here. It turns out Okki and Kiyo were running this casino together but then Okki being the NEET she is, refused to work and decided to have fun instead. Scene switches to an on-going match, where a bunch of assorted mobs get owned by the best team at the moment. Enter ~~Team Liquid~~, Osakabehime, Anne Bonny, Black Beard and Mecha Eli MK2. They effortlessly win and [hi-fives]( https://i.imgur.com/XsSzz2G.png) and [weird handshakes]( https://i.imgur.com/bbSCkWP.png) all around, Mecha Eli complains that she didn’t even get to participate, Okki assures her by saying that she’s basically like the last boss for their team. So long story short in exchange for bringing Okki back (dead or alive, but alive is preferable) we get the event item which lets us progress the story, however we lack the necessary member to participate and I quote, [‘Mashu and Master are a bit too heavy to carry’.]( https://i.imgur.com/6DEZfPY.png) Wow Musashi, just wow. But it’s true, we do need someone to carry this team of scrubs. Enter, [~~Fabulous~~ Mysterious Onii-san.]( https://i.imgur.com/pgXaS05.png) He comes in with a Hawaiian mood but he is a year too late, so in order to make up for lost time he has decided ‘gift’ us a free stay at GILDALAY Hotel… for free of course… Also, [“Hello Children.”]( https://i.imgur.com/ZNSar0U.png) This man could not get any shadier, if he was in a van and was handing out candy, I would totally jump in the van, no lie. We head over to the hotel to be greeted by, ~~gorgeous P~~ Gilgamesh (caster) and we ask him [where d’eon (DW, maid outfit, when?!?) and the queen of Sheba are.]( https://i.imgur.com/tV7XvzL.png) It appears that d’eon is working at a casino (bunny d’eon hint?) and the queen has gone into the casino business instead, leaving our casgil understaffed. He did attempt to hire some fresh hands but the results were… flashbacks to, [‘I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS JOB ENTAILS BUT I WANT IN!’]( https://i.imgur.com/KrMCdYK.png), [‘Heard you need a diva.’]( https://i.imgur.com/1ebQhIc.png) And [‘I charge 1 carrot an hour’]( https://i.imgur.com/poolTzY.png)……) pretty good cause he got [Lanling]( https://i.imgur.com/nLr9583.png)……) somehow… anyhow, about our free stay… which obviously [had a catch, CAUSE NOTHING IS EVER TRULY FREE!]( https://i.imgur.com/QkMBH1I.png) So we proceed to beat the keys out of Casgil. If anyone was wondering why the battle started with Lanling stunned, [because he had to take a business call.]( https://i.imgur.com/hoBNO2h.png) [Battle Ensures] We get the keys and proceed to check in. [Kiyo suggests we share rooms and everyone else gets their own]( https://i.imgur.com/edHqPxJ.png), classic kiyo~. We cuck her once again and [EVERYONE is getting their own rooms.]( https://i.imgur.com/myTiwn1.png) Kiyo receives this pretty well calling us a tease and that’s just the way she likes it. We are [greeted by a nervous Charlotte]( https://i.imgur.com/vfgUVDV.png) and she throws up her entire script before we can say anything and takes her leave, Siegfried coined it, [‘Machinegun-talk’]( https://i.imgur.com/FFYSt6H.png), which seems appropriate and we all head up to drop off our stuff? Before gathering in the lobby again. Pretty sure we’re not carrying anything but sure… Hokusai is amazed at how golden the rooms are and before the plot gets derailed again, Enter,[ ~~Best Boi~~, visually updated Kotarou-kun~](https://i.imgur.com/mIP3m1i.png). I’m sure Takahashi Rie is ascending to heaven somewhere out there. Poor guy is working when it’s his day off but he argues that being of use to us is the best kind of vacation, best boi. Back to the plot, he comes back with some intel on the game area/map and explains some of the rules for us. Turns out we need teams of fours and Sexy Sumanai is going to do what mashu usually does and monitor our status screen, Kotarou is not participating for obvious reasons and mashu/master is dead weight, so we need more members. We name a few possible candidates such as, [Berserkerlot,]( https://i.imgur.com/s1FrzEf.png) honestly, he would be pretty op if he didn’t go on a rampage every second, so scratch that, [let’s just find an archer servant.]( https://i.imgur.com/leu5I60.png) We run into our first candidate, [James fucking Moriarty]( https://i.imgur.com/eBi6BjT.png)……) Alright, what are you up to? Suspiciously [whistles]( https://i.imgur.com/paJdJHz.png). Anyways, he says he can’t help because he much too busy doing… things. With our search hitting a dead end, yes 1 servant in and we’re done… Enter, [Deus ex Machina,]( https://i.imgur.com/kFgP1z7.png) and as his name suggests he showed up to give us hints on who we should be looking for. Very convenient. The hints are; An Archer Someone that would spoil their grandchildren A sweet young maiden Drop your answers in the comment section below~ The answer was [Helena Blavatsky]( https://i.imgur.com/fQ4Puw2.png), if you got that, then congrats to you and no I ain’t got no prizes, blew all my qp in the casino alright! Helena joins us in a heartbeat, thanks grandma~. Looks like we got all the members Hokusai, ~~musashi~~ Iori, Mashu, Master and Helena… luckily for us [Helena can count and points out that we are one member over.]( https://i.imgur.com/33yH0kc.png) Stumped by this fact we all put our thinking caps on and musashi has an epiphany, [you don’t count as a member if you’re not a person.]( https://i.imgur.com/eoHA37X.png) We lose what remaining humanity we had and resign to being someone’s equipment… while mashu is not entirely satisfied with idea, as there are no other objections we proceed with preparing for our battle. Kotarou goes to scout out the enemy team and we have a practice match with Helena to understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses. [Battle Ensures] TIME TO GET PUMPED [えーい、えーい、おーう!]( https://i.imgur.com/3gG7Aby.png) [Post editing] Or not, cause if you choose to be silent it causes Helena to try EVEN HARDER to get us pumped and musashi dies of cuteness overload… The chapter starts with all participates in the plane before the match starts, Okki notices us and is initially distressed about it but thanks to [her class change and lessons with Li Shuwen Sensei, she is pretty cocky]( https://i.imgur.com/YxUlYj6.png) and thinks she can beat us. Meanwhile Hokusai [doesn’t look too good]( https://i.imgur.com/eTrmD5e.png) and clings to us. [Musashi gives us the thumbs up]( https://i.imgur.com/8PVeNRy.png) and ]Okki gives the NTR’ed delusional look]( https://i.imgur.com/R2rrplf.png). Both teams refocus on the task at hand and it is time to jump. [Blackbeard notices us]( https://i.imgur.com/B6XLstX.png) on his way out and warns us that there’s no mercy on the battlefield. Luckily for us we’re not participants per say and we count as equipment… Blackbeard is somewhat disappointed, and Anne overhears the exchange and [licks her lips]( https://i.imgur.com/gaOg1fg.png) before jumping off. Now it is our to turn to jump off but Hokusai refuses to jump without us, but being the savage we are we tell her [it’s nothing new and it’s just like rayshifting]( https://i.imgur.com/tpdLVzq.png) and kick her out. Now on the ground we assemble, Fou included, seems like he got into Mashu’s backpack at some point and we get to enjoy [Hokusai’s sweet sweet tears]( https://i.imgur.com/5LXbAtU.png) for a bit before getting into a fight with another team. [Battle Ensures] After the battle we decide on our next course of action but [Hokusai high off of the win charges off]( https://i.imgur.com/5FU8POI.png) in a random direction, looks like the game plan is to just randomly wonder around and beat anyone we come across, a sound strategy. Meanwhile Okki and her MLG team clears an area and using the advance CPU capabilities of Mecha Eli MK2 they determine our location and [Anne volunteers to go ‘scout’ us out.]( https://i.imgur.com/ageCa4y.png) Okki goes a bit meta and points out that this is usually how people die in horror movies, Anne ignores the sound logic and goes off with [a skip in her step.]( https://i.imgur.com/G0KtP21.png) Blackbeard on the other hand susses us out and thinks that it could be a trap, knowing [Anne she could not resist treasure presented in front of her.]( https://i.imgur.com/kCFJYmt.png) He immediately sends Mecha Eli MK2 after Anne while [Okki is confused]( https://i.imgur.com/lHuiBOi.png) on why Blackbeard is in a frenzy. He repeats his hypothesis to Okki, saying that Anne and Mary would totally fall for a honey trap, especially if it was laced with Master. Which is exactly what is happening. The scene switches back to us and Fou aimlessly wondering around in the forest, before getting a flashback to Kotarou giving us a report on his findings. It turns out that [Okki and her team are cheating,]( https://i.imgur.com/0sa45SI.png) he then passes a VHS tape to Siegfried to insert into the VTR. [Siegfried does that stereotypical ‘pushes up glasses’ anime pose,]( https://i.imgur.com/adOakeF.png) for a spooky 4 star saber he sure is showing off his new costume… also the glasses are borrowed from Sigurd. Musashi flies into a rage at the mentioning of Sigurd, seems like Sigurd is Musashi’s type, [like how ~~ calm~~ hot he is and how ~~cool~~ hot he is.]( https://i.imgur.com/PqufH1t.png) That’s one superficial criteria. She then suggest we go ~~kidnap~~ borrow his wisdom. [Yeah, nah, that’s a hard no from me. ]( https://i.imgur.com/0iS36kY.png) On the VHS we see Anne getting ganged up by [G-man, The last Samurai and a Nazgul.]( https://i.imgur.com/n25rR4m.png) It seems like they all got lost to their own respective universes and decide to indulge themselves and project their fantasies onto Anne. Except last Samurai, [cause what he suggested was fucked up,]( https://i.imgur.com/tKdLajZ.png) even by their standards… It all turns out to be a trap and Mary pops out gives these degenerates a beating. Before they are socially and physically killed, they point out that Mary being here is against the rules but as we all know, they are two servants in one, so fuck the rules. [With the Nazgul’s dying breath]( https://i.imgur.com/6tzuKdg.png) he askes Mary to call him ‘Onii-chan’ to which she complains that she wants to be the [older sister rather than the younger sister…](https://i.imgur.com/uC1yiS5.png) The Nazgul gathers up his [final strength to laugh at Mary… Worth.]( https://i.imgur.com/zvy70TV.png) The tape ends and… everyone was left speechless. Then again, it’s nothing new, the two are always together however this does leave us at a disadvantage. Rather than fighting a 5 v 3 we start to devise a plan to pick off Anne and Mary, and in order to do so we must lure them away, but how can we? What do we have in our possession that could lure away those two…. [IF ONLY WE HAD SOME TREASURE/WINE or SOMETHING.]( https://i.imgur.com/uaPoAZF.png) IF ONLY WE HAD MASTER… [What?]( https://i.imgur.com/7Mi0j2m.png) [All three of them in agreement]( https://i.imgur.com/ydDd3NL.png) Obviously Mashu is against the plan but we live in the land of democracy so… Meanwhile back in present time, the plan worked flawlessly. [What’s this? Master! What are you doing in a place like this?]( https://i.imgur.com/qdXw2SU.png) [I’m lost…](https://i.imgur.com/rOWQefx.png) [But wait, if you’re here does that mean that your participant?]( https://i.imgur.com/72k7DUU.png) [What? A piece of equipment?]( https://i.imgur.com/vuq59SA.png) [Then you’re just like me…](https://i.imgur.com/rCPDxnJ.png) [But for a piece of equipment, to be here all by yourself…](https://i.imgur.com/yOh2Yr8.png) [Moves in for the kill….](https://i.imgur.com/2MAKYCc.png) [FOUND YA!]( https://i.imgur.com/tObeJ93.png) [So close, yet so far…](https://i.imgur.com/jz7XXiM.png) [You’re not getting a leg up on me!]( https://i.imgur.com/ZizI4Ei.png) [I wasn’t planning to… besides aren’t you supposed to be with the team?]( https://i.imgur.com/F87VcDY.png) [Well I heard Master might be in the area, so I went to ‘scout’ him out.]( https://i.imgur.com/WId9xcX.png) [Well it can’t be help, let’s have a threesome.]( https://i.imgur.com/C3RmQZT.png) [Master. Master, you count as a piece of equipment, right?]( https://i.imgur.com/0Huc0EV.png) [Well yeah, I guess.]( https://i.imgur.com/JvHILWc.png) [Which means we should treat you as such right?]( https://i.imgur.com/PHXMO0m.png) [No, no. We’re not gonna treat you badly, we’re gonna give you lots of---]( https://i.imgur.com/yLlqhZc.png) [Hugs]( https://i.imgur.com/ze1tGPE.png) [Head bunting]( https://i.imgur.com/LnEj6Ub.png) [Things we normally couldn’t do with you…]( https://i.imgur.com/2iOqXUv.png) [we’re going to give you loooooooooots of love <3]( https://i.imgur.com/V55eiRd.png) [Now, close your eyes <3]( https://i.imgur.com/91rYDsJ.png) [MY CHASITY IS IN DANGER, HELP!]( https://i.imgur.com/WqGgMOM.png) Assemble Thot Blockers! Although it seemed like [Mashu and Hokusai were unnerved]( https://i.imgur.com/5zpisBp.png) by what they just witnessed, to which Mary replies with [‘someone else is gonna take him otherwise~’]( https://i.imgur.com/B2m8y7O.png) [Battle Ensures] Anne and Mary collapse. [1] [You two alright?]( https://i.imgur.com/pTE8Wfx.png) [Yep, we’re still kicking <3.]( https://i.imgur.com/40OjRAh.png) Woah, that’s one quick recovery, although it seems like they have accepted their defeat and shall exit the game. Mecha Eli MK2 descends to confirm that both Anne and Mary have been knocked out and shall report this to Okki. [You ask if it’s not against the rules to fly]( https://i.imgur.com/ZChubXs.png), since that kinda seems like it would break the game, but Eli argues that she was born this way and this is a skill, better than a certain somebody summoning the ENTIRE OCEAN. [Jeanne: Bow before our dolphin overlords.]( https://i.imgur.com/Axt1NRV.png) Fair enough. Eli and Siegfried exchange blows for a bit before flying off back to her team. Siegfried figuring they now had the upper hand, taunts Eli, How are you gonna fight a 3 v 5? [Eli replies by calling him a noob]( https://i.imgur.com/7GZcBE1.png) for assume they didn’t have other tricks up their sleeves. Siegfried takes [critical damage to his ego.]( https://i.imgur.com/Hd1VzfA.png) For us FGO veterans we deduce their final trump card would be [Super Robot Mecha Eli MK2.]( https://i.imgur.com/F6hSX4L.png) Meanwhile back in Camp Okki, Okki [curses herself for not being along the castle,]( https://i.imgur.com/2w664d4.png) which Mecha Eli points out that it would’ve been impossible, but she does have a plan… Back in Chaldea Camp, we also [deduce that it would be physically impossible for them to bring the whole robot]( https://i.imgur.com/dynnj2r.png) along and recall how strong her missiles were. Hokusai, unaware of the powers of technology claims, [should this ‘missile’ show up, she will cut it where it stands… ]( https://i.imgur.com/1wOXOsw.png)thethe) sentiment is also shared by Musashi… Siegfried does argue that if the missile is below A rank, they should be able to deal with it without too much hassle… reassurance everywhere… The final chapter opens with both parties facing off and without wasting too much time Blackbeard [suggests we just start killing each other. ]( https://i.imgur.com/TKUf1JB.png) [Battle Ensures] The battle rages on due to [Blackbeard’s healing skill, [Gentlemanly Love]…]( https://i.imgur.com/Kvl7nZS.png) sure. Neither sides appear to be gaining the upper hand then [Mecha Eli MK2 reappears]( https://i.imgur.com/2z40d3W.png) and tells us that her missiles are now online and I assume all preparations are complete, because outta nowhere Okki summons [Prison Castle Csejte → Pyramid → Himeji Castle + Super Robot Mecha Eli-chan!]( https://i.imgur.com/IaHMBGl.png) In response, [Musashi bursts into laughter]( https://i.imgur.com/n5EtZHt.png) at the sight of Castle JENGATM, after she calms down she realises that [they are kinda fucked.]( https://i.imgur.com/lQd519C.jpg) Looks like we can only brute strength our way through, and to add pressure to Okki Blackbeard reminds her that if they lose she’s going to have visit Kiyo, and [it ain’t gonna be pleasant.]( https://i.imgur.com/4P9NFPF.png) [Showdown Ensures] Somewhat losing the battle, Okki and Mecha Eli retreat to the skies, since no of us can fly we gotta get creative. [By using Helena’s D-wheels we catapult Hokusai into the air, then to get further distance Musashi fires off an air strike which Hokusai rides.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbWGEbJQuBg) Okki and Mecha Eli prepare to do some sick evasive mauvers (steering slightly to the right), but not on my watch. [WITH MY COMMAND SEAL, I COMMAND YOU TO HIT THOSE TWO!]( https://i.imgur.com/k7AU2NM.png) And thus Hokusai was transformed into a homing missile. In the aftermath, as the victors we demanded 999,999,999 QP from the Okki but obviously she doesn’t have that kind of money so we got information instead, all while Kiyo was slowly creeping up on Okki. However Okki tries to [weasel her way out of this and says that she’s not allowed to tell them anything]( https://i.imgur.com/Valndp0.png) because she is scared of Latoria. BUT, [if we command her to give us her everything, she might consider it…]( https://i.imgur.com/yienrAq.png) Obviously Mashu does not approve, but [also Hokusai]( https://i.imgur.com/nFYBmc0.png )… Seems like she’s been making one too many rape doujins… But being the savages we are… [I WANT ALL OF YOUr information]( https://i.imgur.com/iHklyBu.png) [A critical blow to her maiden heart!]( https://i.imgur.com/wJvO5el.png) With the last of her defences destroyed, she decides to share with us the information… [unfortunately Kiyohime overheard and well…]( https://i.imgur.com/T2zRkoY.png) We all know how this ends… [I’ve got a question for you.]( https://i.imgur.com/I5169ol.png) [Do I look angry to you?]( https://i.imgur.com/xwzmEVE.png) [Yes… very much so….]( https://i.imgur.com/lLjRgOP.png) [Now, what does an angry Kiyohime do to Okki?]( https://i.imgur.com/SxNz6DR.png) [Laughs wickedly while turning me into pasta?]( https://i.imgur.com/MIq9PPD.png) [Oh heavens no.]( https://i.imgur.com/crH3Nay.png) [A thousand stabs with her spear of fire?]( https://i.imgur.com/YYSiR0M.png) [No, no, I wouldn’t do such a thing.]( https://i.imgur.com/6YDBtB3.png) [Then… YOU’LL FORGIVE ME?!]( https://i.imgur.com/RDMTNA5.png) [Yes, after I…]( https://i.imgur.com/VJIxVI1.png) The Doujo-ji bell rings… [trap you in Doujo ji, be sure to repent on your actions okay? <3]( https://i.imgur.com/77DwivG.png) [NUUOOOOOOOOO](https://i.imgur.com/WCQKlq3.png) We tell Kiyo to go easy on Okki but apparently it’s not all that bad inside the bell because it does [have air conditioning](https://i.imgur.com/UZbBIhH.png)……) [what?]( https://i.imgur.com/UNwGM2C.png) yeah I know right… anyhow, with the first boss dealt with [we thank granny for her help]( https://i.imgur.com/t9c1MIy.png) and Blackbeard in Okki’s place, drops some expositional text with added [dramatic effect]( https://i.imgur.com/fF3rkcI.png) thanks to Tsar Ivan… as expected of the Tsar, being there when his people needs him. ------------------------------------ And thus this chapter comes to a conclusion, damn what an event! So as mentioned above this is not accurate in any way and I’ll be aiming to release more chapters as they come out. My Motto is Speedy and Meme-y, so I’m not going to look up every single kanji I don’t know how to read, but instead provide a little glimpse of what the story is like because I absolutely loved all the jokes the writers included and thought it was a shame that us non-japanese folks couldn't fully enjoy. If there was any jokes that I missed and wish to share, leave them in the comments below and what are your speculations on the other casinos? What kind of references do you think will appear? With that, I’ll see you guys in the next chapter!
It’s the end of October, and time for the hotly anticipated MAME 0.191 release. This release includes an experimental Hitachi SH3 recompiler from frequent contributor David “Haze” Haywood that shows promising performance improvements for Cave CV-1000 emulation, and holds the tantalising possibility of bringing similar gains to systems based on the SH4 in the future (including Sega NAOMI). Bug fixes to the Saturn/ST-V emulation will enhance your enjoyment of numerous Sega titles from the ’90s. There have also been some optimisations and improvements to MIPS3 and Voodoo emulation, as used in a number of 3D arcade systems. For fans of systems more often experienced at home, David Haywood also rewrote most of the Gamate emulation, taking it from mostly broken to (hopefully) best-in-class. We’ve also got some important bug fixes for the Tatung Einstein, the NEC PC-Engine console, and the M6809 CPU used by the Tandy CoCo family (among other things). Three more Tiger handhelds have been added for this release, namely Batman, Judge Dredd, and Swamp Thing. The hard limit of four emulated screens has been lifted, allowing you to plug in more video cards, more serial terminals, or just emulate systems that just have lots of screens. We’ve got some big updates to the software lists this month, with plenty of Apple II cassettes, RM Nimbus software, and over seventy new PlayStation dumps. BBC Torch floppies and Gamate cartridges are now considered working, and Kiki Inland for Gamate has been added. A number of titles that don’t require a PC/AT have been moved from the IBM 5170 list to the IBM 5150 list. There are also some nice additions to the IBM PC and Fujitsu FM Towns software. Of course, there are lots more bug fixes and newly dumped versions of emulated games. You can get the source/Windows binaries from the download page and start emulating.

MAME 0.188 comes to you with tales of perseverance, blind luck, and the kind of insanity you’d get from no-one else. By sheer chance, a DECO Cassette system Brian Troha picked up cheap happened to come with a set of graphics ROMs for Explorer. While the Explorer program cassette was dumped sixteen long years ago, the graphics ROMs have proved elusive until now. We can finally all enjoy this Tempest-inspired title from the early ’80s. After much effort and rendering several boards inoperable, Peter Wilhelmsen and Morten Shearman Kirkegaard successfully extracted the programs from the DS5002FP protection modules on Gaelco World Rally 2 and Touch & Go. Yet another seemingly impenetrable protection scheme has been been emulated. Persistence has paid off. This is also a boon for people wishing to repair Gaelco games that have ceased to function after the lithium cell in the protection module has failed. After extracting the program from a working board, it’s possible to reprogram other boards running the same game. As for MAMEdev-brand insanity, we are (to the best of our knowledge) the world’s first and only emulator for the INTELLEC® 4. This system was used to develop software for Intel’s earliest microprocessor family, the 4004 and 4040. We’ve even put together a user manual of sorts if by chance you want to see what interactive debugging was like in the ’70s. It has lots of fun LEDs and switches! Fans of handheld LCD games will be pleased to see the steady stream of improvements: 0.188 adds support for several Konami and Tiger handhelds, and vector backgrounds have been added for Game & Watch titles Mario Bros, Mickey & Donald, and Cement Factory. On the arcade side, we’ve added support for Operation Wolf SC, a version of the military-themed shooter Operation Wolf with reduced difficulty intended for small cabinets located in shopping centres (hence the SC). Children could stay out of trouble storming concentration camps and powder magazines while their parents shopped in peace. Another interesting addition from Taito’s history is a very rare prototype of Bubble Bobble on Tokio hardware. It has different graphics and music, and includes a functional stage editor. Of course we’ve added an assortment of clones as usual, including versions of Act-Fancer, Kageki, Logger, Solar Assault, Street Fighter II, Taisen Idol-Mahjong Final Romance 2, and Xevious 3D/G. I’ll finish by mentioning that save states and scheduled exits should now work properly in Emscripten builds (thanks to James Baicoianu), colours are fixed for Time Limit and Omega (thanks to ShouTime dumping the PROMs), and ROM identification (-romident verb) is even faster (under ten seconds on my old notebook). You can get the source/Windows binaries from the download page and try it out.
